大約在95或96年曾遇見AM87, 深啡色的石楠木筆體紋路很漂亮，筆帽配上金色的圓環，有優雅穩重的感覺，大氣得來而不浮誇，煞是好看，握在手裡卻很輕盈；因為擔心容易在意外中摔壞或碰裂，所以沒有下手，現在有點悔恨呢！

Those wood are very special, hard & treated. Don't think would crack easily...

I have an impression reading it somewhere (I think maybe nibs.com) that the cap of the older type of wood Omas is prone to cracking in low humidity (?), Omas added a ring at the opening in later models to solve the issue.

我依稀記得當時看到它的筆套用料薄薄輕輕的，在信心不足下便放棄了，改買了根筆套是金屬料的D-Day紀念筆，因為覺得D-Day也很漂亮，我到現在仍很滿意它書寫的表現，是我常用筆之一。
