Images from SD14

Intended to upgrade to SD1m lately tempted by the 'taste' its images offer but the color shift problem was beyond redemption when trying to couple the non-Sigma's to its body. Investing in Sigma DC lenses is not my desire. If the full-frame Foveon were out, I would give the DG lenses a try. So, eventually back to zero tonight. Purchased a second-hand SD14 from a Foveon die-hard of another forum.

Here are two shots taken after the deal at Hung Hom tonight.

This has the colors stripped.

Be it 1 or 2, love the substance of the image and texture of the colors in shots from the Foveon sensor.

Can't agree more.

The following was taken this afternoon with an AFD80-400mm VR ED Nikkor. From my perception, good texture in the colors and substance in the image.

Unfortunate that I focused on the signages and not the three gentlemen.

Thanks for sharing. Foveon is indeed a great sensor.
