Last time when I talked to Ming Gor on phone, we had a pleasant chitchat about photography and he kindly suggested that I should open a thread to share what I've been keeping shooting for the last few years, so here they come.
I've gradually privatized my works since 2015 from which I concentrated myself on documenting family matters that are more inherently introvert, therefore I barely updated my site as well as those photo sharing SNS. The following photos you guys see majorly date back to 2012, 13, 14.
At the very beginning of my photography journey, I started from both DSLR and various entry-level film cameras (adapting and switching yourself into two different settings cultivates a sense of ), but I never use auto focus lens, two reasons 1). choosing focus spot among all objects in a frame is the most valuable thing in photography 2). I simply do not believe AF system in some light settings. At that time I use Leica R lens, adapted on my Canon, using my eye to get the image spot on. Then no doubt, considering what I mainly shoot, Leica M rangefinder is an inevitable choice when I upgrade my weapons.. Nowadays, Leica and Rolleiflex are two major daily things in my bag.
