raumplan hing, I didn't take too much shots over the bare concrete outside, i hope the below 2 look clearer to you. As I didn't have the privilege to visit any 安藤忠雄 work in person, so i can't really tell if these are 清水模 already from my amateurish eyes? Please kindly enlighten me...

Both are directly converted from RAW to JPG with no adjustments.

hard to tell whether there is alignment, bulging, lost of grout, honeycombing problems from photos. I want to see how they did at the corners on the diagonal pour where there is louver.  It appears that there is grout loss at the bottom left corner...

the blemishes are quite bad though....

anyway I need to go see in person.  

your set of photos of this building is brilliant.  I dare not post any even if I went

raumplan hing, thanks for your kind words. Actually it is a bit tricky as far as public access is concerned.

Throughout my visit there last week, I did not see a single signage saying that the venue is open to public. Yet there is an exhibition at the podium level and basically the doors into the building are unlocked. There are no cordons or guards to stop you from going up the podium levels into the student quarters once you are inside the building. Yet I thought it is to the best interests of the students that we photographers remain discreet while visiting and leave them alone carrying out their daily routines in their studio and labs.

I do notice that there are student card entry pads outside the building, which I suppose the building would be locked up soon after this grand opening event is over. So do take the chance to visit earlier asap.
