M8 and M9 problems

Heard about many issues with M8 and M9 and experienced some myself (luckily got fixed and I sold my M8 some time ago).
Just read an article by a reputable Leica expert, indicating the limited life span of M8....likely to approach its end.
Would like to know if anyone here find your M8 not repairable? Although my real worry is the M9.

My M8 has 4xxx shutter count, no sign of any problems, yet.
My M9P, approximate 5~6,000 count, still looks good ar.
Both bought 2nd hand.

My overly sensitive nerve is about parts that will definitely burnt out in a few years time and won't be made anymore by the time in need. To trash a digital M, I guess, is a painful experience for most people.

有次在kfc交換區，有個師兄wtb m9，我pm他，他回覆指明要42xxxx 的m9，因這sn 是較後期
