On post #17, both are screen shots, i.e. upper one is screen shot of compressed and lower one is screen shot of 2MB upon clicking. This is a further confusion. Sorry about this.
My monitor is 2560 x 1600. I assume most pro-sumers have large screens. I have no way to tell how it looks like on smaller monitors.

we made it on purpose to keep the compressed pic under 800 x 800, because many forum members use mobile phones / ipad to browse the forum.
but i don't understand why your compressed pic will be shown as 1606 x 1071. it have tried different browser, all shown the pic correctly as 800x533. it may be your browser setting problem? as i don't use PC, maybe other PC users can tell if there is the same problem?
also, the 2MB pic on post #17 is also a screen cap? the color looks way off to me!
Maybe m-classic website would consider 800 x 800 pixels pics for handheld devices and large resolution for desktops?
we thought about this, but technically not possible. supposedly, on desktops, it should also be displayed as 800x800 (but it will be very small on your screen anyway). i guess unfortunately, you have to click enlarge pic every time.
but rest assured, your pics are displayed properly to other ppl. so don't need to feel discouraged.
