bebe ching, I am using Novoflex.  Corner smearing and red shift is still an issue for V2 but not as bad as your sample.  I've heard that Sony has roll out some APP to rectify the problem but I haven't had time to try it out.

As far as I am aware, the Sony app can deal with dark corners and color shift but not smearing.
Leica lenses are not telecentric designs, Leica use special microlenses on the sensor plus software to handle the corner issues. Sony cameras do not have "Leica microlenses adjustment" on the sensor; hence, corner smearing can't be eleminated.
In general, using Leica lenses on non-Leica bodies can only maintain center performance, except longer focal lenses (at least 50mm I guess).

M3fans ching, totally agree with you. The shooting experience with A7R is really not that good for me and I haven't been using it for quite some time.

28 v3 is a lovely lens. The relative less heavy price and its very high performance plus that many great condition samples are available, make it a very attractive option.

I see. One side has cyan shift and the other has magenta shift. Vignetting is quite severe.

Really lovely rendering though. Must be very lovely on film!

K-san, I think both color and B+W will be fine!  This lens has a legendary reputation in the old days...

Ha , really got everything in your office!!
Very nice rendering. A beautiful lens.
Color shift is there but can be handled with some small efforts. May be more work required for Sony cameras.
Wish I can own one someday.
