I like what the photog has expressed in these photos very much.
Life, death, love, coming of age, passing of youth... are all common themes in the arts.
The passing of youth carries potent nostalgia for many of us here.
In many ways, I missed the tumultuous times of youth.
But in some other ways, I enjoy growing old. Even though many passions are tamed, even extinguished, the experience that comes with age helps me avoid many pitfalls that I would have charged right in in more impetuous times. Understanding the constancy of change and the fickleness of the present makes me appreciate and treasure what I used to take for granted. |
