Ming, if you aren't keen on tweaking in PS or LR, you may use the very handy presets of Silver Efex Pro. with just a few keyboard strokes you can bring out the best from your MM shots.

hm..from ray ching's photo, it seems that MM RAW file before post-process is indeed very flat...I guess the very same will apply if one just shoot jpeg straight out of MM.

I shoot jpeg only when I bought Monochrom.
But having shoot RAW and edited in LR for 1 year, and when I compare the difference,
I can say that I wasted too many photos because I wasn't shoot RAW and I didn't use LR at that time.

Shooting MM in RAW is a MUST. It renders huge difference with JPEG !

I also use Aperture to edit m9p raw, it can correct the white balance and have more details compare with jpg.

昨天已經首次正式使用，插上普普通通的縮頭五十二，以唔好睇少佢，佢灰階可能比八妹好……

我決定，要開個Monochrome試镜日記！

monochrom絕對要raw，jpeg唔係話唔得，求其的話，A7得啦
