It is surprising that MTF of 75 2.5 (Summarit) is not significantly different from 75 2 APO!!
Pricewise, is huge!!

I used to own 75/2.5, too.  It's not a bad lens but I'd prefer the APO any day!

I think 35mm is excellent for portraits including a little background.  When I use 28, I find myself often cropping the sides so that it becomes a 35mm frame!

35 FLE is excellent!  It is incredible at full aperture or stopped down!  Use it as often as you can.
